I've recently been to the Australian Animania convention, checked out alot of stuff, a couple of new never seen before first time release episodes of anime shows in Australia which was great and basically went around looking at all the cool little collectibles you can't really buy in Australia except though mail-order.

Plus it's a nice place to get cheap Anime DVDs too.

Anyway long story short, Animania was fun, hope you had the chance to go to it last weekend.

On that theme, what would be your favorite anime, reasons for it being your favorite, and have you read the manga it was based on, and what did you think of it's incarnation as animation?
